Achoo! Spring Has Arrived!

Achoo. If you have allergies then you know that Spring has arrived because everything is beginning to bloom. I also hear the sound of birds chirping in nest high up in the trees. This weekend while doing some yard work I saw some caterpillar eggs under some leaves. Did you know that caterpillars move their stomach or gut first and that sends a ripple through their body and propels them forward. Have you ever searched for and found a caterpillar? I think that I may have seen a handful of them in my life. Join us as we read aloud, “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” by Eric Carle. Teens Are Reading the Same Books Across the Globe

This morning while teaching students in virtual classrooms, I saw two Chinese students with the book “Diary of a Wimpy Kid.” It’s a good book. It’s pretty cool to think that kids around the world are reading the same book that you are. Have a great Monday. New Sledding Pictures and Video: Check Out Our Instagram Later On!

Snow has finally arrived this winter, and it’s COLD. I was so cold yesterday afternoon that I walked around with a fluffy robe over my clothes around the house. This morning I will spend an hour sledding down a hill at a local park. Check out our Instagram later on and I will post a picture or two and maybe a video of it. You can also find us at: Facebook, InstagramPinterest, and Twitter. We are two sisters on a mission to make a difference by spreading fun and engaging literacy experiences across the globe. – Erin and Amber 😀
