Gung Hay Fat Choi! Gong Xi!

Celebrating the Chinese New Year is one of our favorite things to do. Help Erin to sweep out the old year, and welcome in the new year. The orange, oranges and red apples are used to celebrate the new year as they represent health and lucky. Learn about what foods are prepared and eaten for the new year. Children receive red envelopes with coins to give them luck for the new year. Spin the wheel to find out that we are welcoming in the Year of the Dog. Watch dragon pop up as the lion dancers do the traditional Chinese dance. We wish you health, happiness, and wealth in the new year. Gung Hay Fat Choi! Gong Xi! Happy Chinese New Year!
