How About Reading a Good Book During Fall Break?

Fall Break! How you spending your time? One teacher wrote yesterday that she’s spending her two days off swimming, with family, cleaning the house, and reading a good book. I think it’s interesting that most of us find time to read an enjoyable book only on vacation and holidays, and not during our normal day-to-day routine. What would happen to our literacy rates if we changed this norm? We invite you to sit back for a few minutes and listen to one of our favorite Halloween read alouds, “There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed a Bat,” by Lucille Colandro and illustrated by Jared Lee! Please subscribe to Story Time with Amber and Erin. You can also find us at Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest. Thanks for tuning! 😀 We are two sisters on a mission to making a positive difference by spreading fun and engaging literacy experiences to children across the globe.
