Achoo! Spring Has Arrived!

Achoo. If you have allergies then you know that Spring has arrived because everything is beginning to bloom. I also hear the sound of birds chirping in nest high up in the trees. This weekend while doing some yard work I saw some caterpillar eggs under some leaves. Did you know that caterpillars move their stomach or gut first and that sends a ripple through their body and propels them forward. Have you ever searched for and found a caterpillar? I think that I may have seen a handful of them in my life. Join us as we read aloud, “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” by Eric Carle. The Little OLD Lady is Back! She’s Swallowing More Stuff!

The little OLD lady is back and she’s swallowing more stuff! You’d think that she is ready for spring! She’s swallowing a frog, dirt, seeds, rain, sunlight, a rake and gloves. What does it mean? Check our our read aloud, “There was an OLD Lady Who Swallowed a Frog” by Lucille Colandro and illustrated by Jared Lee. Story Time with Amber and Erin sites are kid, tween and teen friendly. The backdrop. We love visiting The Museum of Curiosity at Thanksgiving Point. During a recent visit Amber took several panoramic shots of different locations throughout the museum. Can you tell where we were exploring? 😉  We are two sisters on a mission to make a difference by spreading fun and engaging literacy experiences across the globe. – Amber and Erin 😀
