Tomorrow is Christmas Eve! Is everyone rushing about around you, or have you already started to celebrate? We’ve been doing both. Last night we all went bowling and had pizza and played games in the arcade while dancing and singing to festive holiday music blaring overhead. While your rushing about or as you are traveling over the river and through the woods to grandma’s house, sit back and listen to one of our read alouds,How about, “Who’s That Knocking on Christmas Eve?” by Jan Brett is how a young boy and his pet ice bear save Christmas for Kyri and her father from a group of trolls. Every year the trolls knock down Kyri’s door to eat of their Christmas feast. Well not this year because they are met by the ice bear. The trolls will never knock down their door at Christmas Eve again. We are two sisters on a mission to make a difference by spreading fun and engaging literacy experiences across the globe. Merry Christmas! Amber and Erin 🙂
